 package org.foxlabs.validation.constraint;

 import java.util.Map;

This class provides convenient implementation of the Constraint that can be subclassed to wrap another constraint.

Parameters:
<V> The type of value to be validated
Author(s):
Fox Mulder

 public abstract class ConstraintWrapper<V> implements Constraint<V> {

Wrapped constraint.

     protected final Constraint<V> constraint;

Constructs a new ConstraintWrapper with the specified constraint.

Parameters:
constraint Constraint to be wrapped.
Throws:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException if the specified constraint is null.

     public ConstraintWrapper(Constraint<V> constraint) {
         this. = Assert.notNull(constraint"constraint");
     }

Returns wrapped constraint.

Returns:
Wrapped constraint.

     public final Constraint<V> getConstraint() {
         return ;
     }

The default behavior of this method is to return Constraint.getType() on the wrapped constraint.

     @Override
     public Class<?> getType() {
         return .getType();
     }

     @Override
     public String getMessageTemplate(ValidationContext<?> context) {
         return .getMessageTemplate(context);
     }

     @Override
     public boolean appendMessageArguments(ValidationContext<?> contextMap<StringObjectarguments) {
         return .appendMessageArguments(contextarguments);
     }

    @Override
    public <T> V validate(V valueValidationContext<T> context) {
        try {
            return .validate(valuecontext);
        } catch (ConstraintViolationException e) {
            throw new ConstraintViolationException(thiscontextvaluee);
        }
    }
