package org.kuali.maven.plugins.externals;
This class provides a simple method for scanning a directory for files that match include/exclude patterns
public class SimpleScanner extends DirectoryScanner {
	private static final String FS = System.getProperty("file.separator");
	public SimpleScanner() {
		this(nullgetArray(null), getArray(null));
	}
	public SimpleScanner(File baseDirString includeString exclude) {
		this(baseDirgetArray(include), getArray(exclude));
	}
	public SimpleScanner(File baseDirString[] includesString[] excludes) {
		super();
		setBasedir(baseDir);
		setIncludes(includes);
		setExcludes(excludes);
	}
	protected static final String[] getArray(String s) {
		if (s == null) {
			return null;
else {
			return new String[] { s };
		}
	}

This method returns files that match an include pattern but do not match an exclude pattern
	public List<FilegetFiles() {
		scan();
		String[] includedFiles = getIncludedFiles();
		List<Filefiles = new ArrayList<File>();
		for (String includedFile : includedFiles) {
			String filename = getBasedir().getAbsolutePath() +  + includedFile;
			File file = new File(filename);
			files.add(file);
		}
		return files;
	}
