<h1>Plug-in Project</h1>
<p>The <strong>New Plug-in Project</strong> creation wizard is available under 		<a class="command-link" href='javascript:executeCommand("org.eclipse.ui.newWizard(newWizardId=org.eclipse.pde.ui.NewProjectWizard)")'>
    		<img src="PLUGINS_ROOT/" alt="Open the new plug-in project wizard"><strong>File &gt; New &gt; Project... &gt; Plug-in Project</strong></a> from the top level menu. </p>
<p>The creation of a plug-in project is a three-step process: </p>
  <li><a href="plugin_structure.htm">Define the plug-in project structure</a></li>
  <li><a href="plugin_content.htm">Specify the plug-in content</a> </li>
  <li><a href="plugin_templates.htm">Add template extensions (optional)</a></li>

<p>When the plug-in project is created, its manifest file will open in the PDE plug-in manifest editor and the project structure will be similar to the following:</p>
